If you're coming from the UK or US, please note: in Portugal, real estate consultants are independent contractors, not employees. There is no base salary in the agency model. Income comes from commissions on transactions you originate or assist with, sharing in the agency's commission per the model that we discuss in interview. The Portuguese market is different — rewarding, but different.
